Hospital & Healthcare Management
BBA specialisation
A BBA track that applies business subjects to hospitals and health services — hospital operations, healthcare finance and billing, health insurance, medical records, quality and accreditation, and health laws. It prepares you for non-clinical, administrative work; it does not qualify you to treat patients. Some universities offer a similar separate degree, the Bachelor of Hospital Administration (BHA).
After Hospital & Healthcare Management, you can
How you get in
Class 12 in any stream. Admission is by Class 12 marks, CUET-UG, or a university's own test. Some universities offer the specialisation from the start as a named programme; others let you choose it in the second or third year. Many programmes include a hospital internship.

- Entry work is in hospital front offices, billing and insurance desks, and patient-services teams; shifts and weekend duty are common.
- Hospital-manager posts, especially in government health programmes, usually ask for an MHA, MBA (Healthcare) or MPH.
- An internship in a hospital and familiarity with hospital software help in hiring.
- Common next steps: an MHA or an MBA in healthcare management.
