Undergraduate veterinary degree
Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry. You study animal anatomy, medicine, surgery and gynaecology alongside livestock, dairy and poultry production, then complete a one-year internship. It is regulated by the Veterinary Council of India (VCI).

How you get in
Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English, and a NEET-UG score. VCI counsels the 15% All India Quota online; states fill the remaining 85% through their own counselling, usually on NEET-UG scores.
