How you get in

NATA (run by the Council of Architecture) or JEE Main Paper 2A (for NIT, IIIT and other centrally funded seats through JoSAA). You need Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics.

At a glance

  • Council of Architecture registration is required to practise as an architect.
  • Enrolment has fallen over the last three survey years, and many private-college seats go unfilled.
  • An M.Arch or M.Plan (via GATE or university tests) is the usual next degree.
