How you get in
Class 12 in any stream. Central and many other universities admit through CUET-UG; others admit on Class 12 marks or their own test. At many universities it is taken as one of the subjects in a general B.A. rather than as a single-subject honours.

- The degree alone does not lead to a government post — those come through competitive exams open to graduates of any subject.
