What you’d do
A medical billing executive turns a patient's treatment into a bill and makes sure the provider gets paid, whether by the patient, an insurer or a health scheme. Hospitals hire for in-house billing desks, and healthcare revenue-cycle management (RCM) firms hire for processes that bill overseas healthcare providers' claims. A typical day involves preparing bills, checking claim documents and following up on pending payments.

How you get in
