What you’d do
Builds the parts of websites and apps that people see and use — pages, forms and dashboards — and makes them fast, accessible and consistent across devices. Employers include IT services firms, product companies, startups and GCCs. A typical day involves writing JavaScript or TypeScript components from designs, fixing bugs and reviewing code with teammates.

How you get in
Freshers get in through campus placement at IT services firms (often a general trainee role first, with a stack assigned after training), or by applying directly to startups and product companies with a portfolio. A few deployed projects in a public code repository and solid JavaScript fundamentals usually count more than certificates.
