What you’d do
An airport customer service agent handles passengers on the ground for an airline or a ground-handling company: check-in, baggage, boarding, and help during delays or cancellations. The work is at airport counters and gates, in shifts that follow the flight schedule.

How you get in
Airlines and ground-handling companies recruit through walk-ins and online applications; selection is usually an interview with a communication assessment. New hires are trained on the airline's systems and need a security background check for an airport entry pass.
