What you’d do

Much of the work is in the field: visiting farms, running demonstration plots and keeping records.

- Recommend nutrient and pest management
- Run field demonstrations and trials
- Record crop data and advisory notes
How you get in
Freshers usually join as a field or development officer in an agri-input company, agritech firm or FPO support organisation. Knowing the local language and crops of the region is a strong advantage.
