Directly after Class 12, you can sit for the NDA & NA exam (Physics and Maths needed for Air Force and Navy), SSC CHSL, SSC MTS and GD Constable, and several state-level and defence entries. UPSC Civil Services, SSC CGL and bank PO/clerk exams need a graduate degree, so most aspirants take them after — or in the final year of — a degree. Each exam has age limits, with relaxations for reserved categories.
